On behalf of everyone at the Fox and Hounds Hotel, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. We are a friendly, family run Hotel on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, UK - under the same family management for more than 50 years. We are open all day every day of the year.
The Fox and Hounds Hotel is situated within Dartmoor National Park and is a very popular destination for walkers and day-trippers to the moor. The moor is accessed directly via a trackway behind the Hotel. In addition to our Hotel accommodation we also have modern camping and caravanning facilities (offering wheel chair access), also our Camping Barn offering YHA hostel accommodation. There are Two bars, a restaurant, games room with pool and darts, beer garden and children’s play area outside. Notably we have a skittle alley which doubles as a function room and has its own bar and is available for booking for parties. We also have a classroom which can be booked for visiting school parties.
The Fox and Hounds Hotel has excellent links to London and Exeter due the re-instated rail connection between Okehampton and Exeter. There is a direct bus link to and from Okehampton Station and the bus stops right outside the hotel.

We are set on the edge of Dartmoor with the view looking West allowing spectacular evenings watching the sun set towards Bodmin moor and Cornwall from the cosy comfort of the bars.
