How to find us

We are located on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park, Devon, UK, within the national park with direct access to the moorland behind us. We are on the main A386 road, which connects Okehampton and Tavistock.

From the A30 dual carriageway you turn off after Okehampton onto the A386 signposted for Tavistock and Plymouth. You will then drive through the small village of Sourton. We are to be found a short distance on from Sourton at the junction with Bridestowe (although we are in fact two miles distance from the village of Bridestowe). If you have gone as far as the Lydford junction then you have travelled too far.

BUS and TRAIN

There is a train service between Exeter and Okehampton, with a direct connection to the 118 bus service which stops right outside the Fox and Hounds Hotel.

The number 118 bus provides a service every day EXCEPT Sundays. It connects: Okehampton - Fox & Hounds Hotel - Lydford - Tavistock.
